The three benefits of applique flags are:
1. Durability
2. Modifiable
3. Repairable
Durability
Though printed flags are often lighter and fly with lower wind speeds required, an appliqué flag is much more durable. The thinner weight fabric used for printed flags does not allow for many of the flag reinforcement options available. Additionally, appliqué flags made of 200 denier nylon are more fade resistant as nylon is dyed fully through the fabric.
Modifiable
Appliqué flags are modifiable allowing the addition of components that add to the life of your flag. Reinforced tie-down patches, corners, fly-ends, and our own Fly-Tru batten system allow you to display the flag properly while alleviating much of the wind load they incur while flying.
Repairable
At the first sign of wear one can remove their appliquéd flag and return to us for repair. Custom made and commercial grade retail flags can often be cleaned and repaired (assuming the damage isn’t too great) at a much lower cost than replacing the entire flag.
